Job summary

TotalMed Allied is recruiting a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boulder, Colorado. The position requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts and a travel employment arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of echocardiography experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS, and state licensing as applicable. You will operate the cardiac ultrasound machine, prepare patients, and deliver high-quality images for interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of echocardiography experience required.
• BLS certification and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification required.
• State-specific licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cardiac ultrasound machine and ensure accurate images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients undergoing echocardiograms and maintain patient records.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and exam expectations.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams and acquire stress echo images as directed.
• Report findings to the reading physician and ensure proper data handling in PACS.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and notify of any issues with equipment.
