Job summary

Spectra Logic is seeking an Engineer, Design Verification Test, for 100% onsite work in Boulder, Colorado. The role validates emerging storage solutions and collaborates with engineering to build robust test plans and regression tests.

Responsibilities include designing tests, executing cases, identifying root causes, and communicating findings to cross-functional teams. A degree in engineering or equivalent experience is preferred, with extensive storage knowledge and scripting abilities valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent multitasking and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Design functional test plans and test cases using precise, repeatable, maintainable approaches.
• Execute functional test cases, track and report issues.
• Perform root cause analysis to develop regression tests.
• Collaborate with Engineering to transfer knowledge to the Test group for new projects.
• Communicate with other development groups to provide information needed to fix bugs.
