Job summary

Mizkan America is seeking a Production Worker I for on-site work in the Bottling department. You will feed and load materials, verify quality, and maintain cleanliness while complying with GMP and food safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in a food-related setting, and the ability to operate packing equipment. This is an hourly position with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in food processing, bottling, liquid filling/blending and/or consumer goods manufacturing/packing preferred.
• Ability to use common hand tools, weight scale and thermometer.
• Basic mathematics skills required.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job-related software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be respectful and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to perform on-call duty on any shift and work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Feed and load packing materials to the production line.
• Verify quality standards and stack cases onto pallets.
• Maintain good housekeeping for multiple production lines.
• Record data clearly and accurately following production guidelines.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Operate case making, packing, coding and sealer equipment as required.
