A design consultancy firm in Ohio is seeking a consultant in Change Part Design to support packaging line upgrades. Candidates should have experience with SolidWorks and change part design, and must be able to commute locally. This role involves reverse engineering and designing parts to fit existing systems, along with responsibilities in testing and validation. The position requires 25-40 weekly hours, with flexibility to flow to the work.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience working with change part design or closure design.
• Experience with SolidWorks for modeling including parameterized models.
• Prior experience with Ronchi cappers is a plus.

Mansioni

• Complete detailing of 3D CAD drawings of change parts to create fabrication drawings.
• Create drawings and models from 3D scans to support reverse engineering.
• Design change parts compatible with existing manufacturing equipment.
• Support testing and verification of an automated design tool.
• Conduct necessary design iterations to streamline change parts.
• Support on-site testing of change part design with required continental U.S. trip.
