Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Boston, MA. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts and a travel format.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of MRI experience and holds ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with proper registration, plus BLS. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, patient care, safety screening, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiology staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration is required.
• BLS certification required; state licensing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure safety regulations.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure image quality.
