NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Tax Partner to lead and grow the Boston Tax practice, overseeing teams focused on tax compliance and provision outsourcing for middle‑market and private equity–backed companies.

This highly visible role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and a demonstrated ability to expand market presence through strategic relationships and business development in Boston or Waltham.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Significant tax experience in public accounting.
• Expertise in federal ASC 740, multi-state and international tax.
• Proven track record of growing a practice and expanding services.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax teams delivering compliance, provision outsourcing and advisory services for middle‑market clients.
• Provide high‑quality technical and strategic tax guidance as trusted advisor.
• Coach and develop managers and staff to strengthen capabilities.
• Drive growth through business development and expanding services to existing clients.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance service offerings and firm initiatives.
• Engage with clients across Technology, Private Equity, and other middle‑market sectors.
• Oversee federal ASC 740, multi‑state and international tax engagements.
