Professions-Inc in Boston is seeking an experienced MEP Engineering Practice Leader to guide and expand our Building Engineering practice. You will lead the Boston Mechanical Engineering team, develop client relationships, and set strategic direction for high-profile projects.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and drive sustainable, high-performance building solutions while working closely with senior leaders to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years mechanical engineering experience, preferably in building engineering/MEP consulting.
• Demonstrated leadership including team management or leading a mechanical group.
• Strong HVAC and complex building project background.
• Excellent communication, client relationship, and business development skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow the Boston Mechanical Engineering team while collaborating with senior leadership across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Shape the strategic direction and continued expansion of the Building Engineering practice.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight on complex, high-profile building projects, with emphasis on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Develop and mentor engineering professionals, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
• Build and strengthen client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with architecture, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams on major multidisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to innovative, sustainable, and high-performance building solutions.
