AmeriCorps & Senior Corps’ Semester in the City program places quarter-time fellows in the Boston area, working in capacity-building roles at local nonprofits. Fellows expand efficiency, effectiveness, and reach through service activities and a host-site project.

Participants gain civic and professional skills, complete a real-world project, take two college-credit courses, and receive a living allowance and training during the service period.

Qualifications

• Two courses eligible for college credit support professional development.
• Ability to complete capacity-building tasks for nonprofit partner sites.
• Interest in civic and professional skills development through service.

Responsabilités
