Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. is seeking a skilled Bore Operator to join our utility construction crew in Indiana.

The role involves operating a directional drill, coordinating with locators and laborers, and maintaining a safe, productive job site under all weather conditions. Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of bore operation experience, valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and willingness to travel for assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3+ years of Bore Operator experience.
• Experience in utility construction excavation is preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical outdoor labor and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a directional drill and use standard tools.
• Coordinate activities of Locator and Laborers to meet production schedule.
• Maintain a safe job site and enforce safety standards.
• Work full-time outdoors in all weather conditions and communicate with supervisors and crew.
• Perform roadside traffic control as required.

This position will be required to operate directional drilling equipment, as well as coordinating activities of locators and laborers and maintaining a safe job site while assisting crew to ensure safety standards are being met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safely operate a directional drill as needed and utilize the standard tools of the trade.
• Coordinate activities of Locator and Laborers to meet production schedule.
• Maintain safe job site.
• Assist crew to ensure safety standards are being met.
• Ability to work full-time, in an outdoor environment and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to interact with and communicate well with Supervisor, Area Manager, Co-workers, and Customers.
• Routine Training as assigned (LMS, OSHA – 10 Hour, etc.).
• Roadside Traffic Control.

Position Requirements
