Qualifications

• GS-5 requires general experience or education substitution (bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• GS-7 requires specialized experience or education substitution with superior academic achievement or equivalent.
• GS-9 requires specialized experience and/or advanced education or a combination with relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Regulate the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Prevent illegal entry and smuggling of contraband.
