Job summary

Customs and Border Protection is seeking a CBPO to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at U.S. ports of entry. The role includes inspections, determining admissibility, and preventing illegal entry while supporting lawful trade and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting and dealing with people and applying a body of facts.
• Knowledge of CBP laws, regulations and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture law and regulations.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
• Preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods and the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband.
