Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-5 requires 3 years general experience or a 4-year degree or combination thereof.
• GS-7 requires 1 year of specialized experience or approved education substitutions.
• GS-9 requires specialized experience, graduate education, or a combination thereof.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Inspect persons, documents, and goods for admissibility and compliance.
• Detain or refer for further action as required by law.
• Perform primary inspections at ports of entry and oversee related procedures.
