Customs and Border Protection is seeking a CBPO to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and to inspect individuals and conveyances along U.S. borders.

The role encompasses enforcing flow of legitimate trade and travel, determining admissibility, and preventing smuggling, with career advancement opportunities within GS grades. The position is full-time, with eligibility for federal benefits, retirement and potential recruitment incentives up to $15,000 per year depending on duty

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of CBP laws, regulations and procedures.
• Ability to apply federal, state, or local laws to enforce immigration and customs duties.
• Ability to make rapid, accurate judgments under pressure.
• Interviews and inspections to determine admissibility and enforce security requirements.
