Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-5: 3 years general experience, or bachelor’s degree, or combination of both.
• GS-7: 1 year specialized experience or equivalent grade level.
• GS-9: 1 year specialized experience at next lower grade level, or advanced degree options.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Inspect individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility.
• Determine eligibility for entry into the United States and prevent illegal entry of people and prohibited goods.
• Oversee the flow of legitimate trade and travel and conduct inspections as required.
