Qualifications

• One year of general work experience or education leading to the ability to learn regulations and procedures.

• A combination of experience and education may be used to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question people suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Patrol borders and coastal waterways using vehicles, horses, vessels, and off-road equipment.
• Perform checks and observations to identify illegal entry or contraband.
• Maintain surveillance using night-vision tools and other assets to support missions.
