Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Inspect documents and belongings to determine citizenship or violations.
• Patrol borders and coastlines using various government assets.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
• Interpret tracks and evidence to identify illegal entry or contraband.
