Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine eligibility.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near the border.
• Patrolling the international boundary and using government assets.
• Maintaining surveillance and using equipment during night operations.
