Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Use of Force Policy.
• Knowledge of Criminal Law and Procedure.
• Skill in Using Firearms.
• Skills in Basic Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question people suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Patrol the international boundary and coastal waterways using government assets.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry.
