Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and meet residency/age requirements.
• One year of general work experience for GL-5; one year of specialized work experience for GL-7.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Maintain surveillance and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
• Interpret evidence of illegal entry and related activity.
• Patrol, inspect, and perform checks across border areas.
• Support USBP mission by securing borders and enforcing laws.
