Salon Voda in Seattle, WA invites a Booth Rent Stylist to join our high-traffic, South Lake Union salon. This independent contractor role lets you manage your own schedule while delivering expert hair services and building a loyal clientele.

You’ll work with premium brands (Color Wow, Kevin Murphy, R+Co, Davines) and use Vagaro for bookings, client management, and retail tracking. A cosmetology license and a strong portfolio are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology or barbering license.
• Proven hairstyling experience with a strong portfolio.
• Confidence in color theory, cutting, and styling techniques.
• Strong communication and client retention skills.
• Knowledge of retail sales and product recommendations.
• Professional, self-motivated, and business-minded.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling tailored to client preferences.
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions and other advanced services (if offered).
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness per state health regulations.
