Job summary

TEAM Group is seeking Paint Booth Cleaners/Laborers for the GM Lansing Grand River location. The role runs on the 3rd shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00pm to 4:30am, offering $22.79 per hour and paid training.

We provide on-site parking, casual dress code, room for advancement, and competitive wages. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.
• Must be able to perform all functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks (bending/lifting).
• Must be available on weekends and for overtime as required.
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
• Ability to commute to the GM Lansing Delta Township site location for work.

Responsibilities

• Clean walls, floors, grates, conveyors, machinery and robotics in paint booths.
• Work in confined spaces and from heights (ladder 10 ft) for cleaning.
• Lift up to 50 lbs for moving supplies and equipment.
• Perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing and walking, and using blasting equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

Responibilities

• Provide services in industrial cleaning within the facility paint booths to clean walls, floors, grates, conveyor lines, machinery, robotics, and equipment (training provided);
• Work occasionally in confined spaces and from heights (ladder - 10 ft.) to provide cleaning services;
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs for moving supplies, materials, and equipment;
• Perform repetitive tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, prolonged standing, prolonged walking, and using blasting equipment;
• Follow all instructions and all safety policies, practices, and protocols;
• Other duties as assigned.
