Job summary

Bootdoctors Inc. in Telluride, CO, is hiring for a bootfitting specialist. This position focuses on proper boot fitting, selling ski and snowboard equipment, and assisting with inventory control.

You will determine guest needs, demonstrate boot fitting expertise, and maintain store merchandising while delivering outstanding customer service. The role requires an outgoing personality, a ski/snowboard background, and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with people.
• Ski/snowboard background preferred.
• Prior boot fitting experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• English fluency, written and verbal.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.

• Building of custom foot beds and liners.
• Develop successful sales techniques and provide exceptional customer service.

• Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company.

Summary Description

This position is primarily responsible for the proper fitting of ski and snowboard boots, the sale of ski / snowboard equipment and assisting with inventory control.

Budgeted range starts at: $24-$26/hour + Commission. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
