Job summary

Sunday River is seeking knowledgeable Boot Fitters to join our retail team. Boot Fitters greet guests and guide proper boot fitting, while understanding Sunday River's services, promotions, and hours of operation to provide consistent information.

Boot Fitters are expected to deliver quality service for ski and snowboard hard goods, maintain a positive attitude, and participate in daily safety and service meetings; relevant boot fitting expertise is required.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive knowledge of skis, boot fitting, and stance alignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of proper fit of ski and snowboard boots.
• Greet guests and quickly identify guest’s specific needs and steer them in the appropriate direction.
• Be a hard good product enthusiast and sell products that meet the needs of the guest.
• Provide directions and anticipate guest’s questions.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all interactions.
• Attend and participate in daily safety and service meetings.
• Ability to pass binding certifications, and to tech skis and bindings.

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
