Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Boom Truck Driver to travel locally and deliver building materials to customers. You will perform truck pre-inspections, load and unload at sites using a truck-mounted boom, and maintain logs.

Safe unloading requires coordinating with ground personnel and dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate has a Class A license, at least 2 years of Class A driving, and experience with manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A Driver License in good standing.
• Must have at least 2 years Class A driving experience.
• Must have experience driving manual transmission.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• NCCCO Swing Cab Certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• A clean driving record within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspection of truck
• Load truck with materials
• Verify load for accuracy
• Unload truck at site - using truck mounted boom
• Keep log book up to date at all times
• Inspect site to ensure safe environment to unload
• Confirm support person on ground level to assure safe unloading
• Proper use of helper to accommodate safe unloading on rooftop
• Communicate regularly with Dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery at job site
• Communicate potential on-site hazards to branch management
• Set up job perimeters
• Perform other duties as assigned
