Job summary

CRH is seeking a Boom Truck Driver in Chandler, AZ to deliver building materials locally. You will pre-inspect and load trucks, verify loads, and unload at job sites using a truck-mounted boom.

Maintain logs and ensure safe unloading with ground support as needed, while coordinating with dispatch for on-time deliveries. Qualified applicants will have a valid Class A license with at least 2 years of driving experience, be able to drive manual transmission, and lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Class A license in good standing and current experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Minimum 2 years Class A driving experience with manual transmission.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and work overtime as needed.
• Clean driving record in the last 3 years; NCCCO Swing Cab certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspection of truck.
• Load truck with materials.
• Verify load for accuracy.
• Unload truck at site using boom.
• Keep log book up to date.
• Inspect site for safe unloading.
• Coordinate with ground staff for safe unloading on rooftops if needed.
• Communicate with Dispatcher for timely deliveries.
• Identify on-site hazards and report to management.
• Set up job perimeters and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As a Boom Truck Driver, you will travel locally as you deliver building materials to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Pre-inspection of truck
• Load truck with materials
• Verify load for accuracy
• Unload truck at site – this involves using truck mounted boom
• Keep log book up to date at all times
• Inspect site to ensure safe environment to unload
• Confirm support person on ground level to assure safe unloading (if necessary)
• Proper use of helper to accommodate safe unloading on rooftop (if necessary)
• Communicate regularly with Dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery at job site
• Communicate potential on-site hazards to branch management
• Set up job perimeters
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must have a Class A Driver License in good standing
• Must have at least 2 years Class A Driving experience
• Must have experience driving manual
• Must be able to work overtime
• NCCCO Swing Cab Certification preferred
• Must have ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
• A clean driving record within the last 3 years
