Job summary

NJE Concrete Pumping LLC in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a skilled Boom Pump Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy concrete pumping equipment on residential and commercial sites with a focus on safety and quality.

You will set up, operate, and break down boom pump equipment, coordinate with trucks and crew, perform inspections, and maintain pumps. CDL is preferred and OSHA knowledge is essential. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a concrete boom pump or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred or required.
• Strong understanding of concrete pumping systems, hydraulics, and boom operation.
• Ability to read job site layouts and communicate effectively with crew members.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and job site best practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in outdoor conditions including heat and varying terrain.
• ACI or ACPA certification is a plus.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down boom pump equipment on residential and commercial job sites.

• Coordinate with concrete truck drivers, foremen, and crew to ensure smooth pours.
• Monitor concrete flow, pressure, and boom placement throughout each pour.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on pump trucks and related equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment in top condition.
• Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols.
