Job summary

Johnson County Community College is seeking a Part-time Temporary Bookstore Warehouse Associate to support bookstore operations. The role involves receiving, pricing, stocking merchandise, and assisting with online orders, with a 12-hour weekly schedule and compensation between $15.34 and $16.80 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with shipments, inventories, and basic customer-facing tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization. A high school diploma is required.

• Entry-level support role; routine tasks performed under close supervision.
• Ability to complete detailed work accurately, communicate effectively, prioritize, and have strong organizational skills.

• Assist Textbook Receiver Specialist in accepting, checking in, and breaking down shipments within 24 hours.
• Assist Online Order Specialist with picking, processing, and completing online orders using JCCC software within 24 hours.
• Participate in cyclical and fiscal physical inventories.
• Occasionally answer phones when a specialist is unavailable; collect caller information and message to relay a prompt call-back.
• Tag textbooks and merchandise and prepare them for stocking on the sales floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
