Job summary

UCLA Student Store is seeking a Customer Service Representative for BookZone/Essentials/Fast Track in Los Angeles. You will handle front-line customer inquiries, provide book information, answer phones, process special orders, stock and cashier, and assist with special projects.

The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, independence, and flexibility for opening/closing shifts. Availability during Finals Week and Summer sessions is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, pushing, walking and standing.
• Must be available for store opening/closing shifts.
• Availability during Finals Week and Summer required.

Responsibilities

• Front line responsibility for all customer service inquiries and issues.
• Provide general book information, answer phones, process special orders.
• Stock, straighten and dust the sales floor, cashier, and assist with special projects as needed.
