Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a Bookseller to work on the sales floor and at the register in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You will help customers find great reads, provide friendly service, and participate in merchandise presentation and store upkeep.

The role is hourly, based in one of our retail locations in New Hampshire. Candidates should enjoy reading, be comfortable with technology, and excel at delivering a warm, welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort with technology and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with warmth and help them find products and complete checkouts.
• Drive sales by recommending books and related items to customers.
• Create engaging displays and maintain a clean, inviting store floor.
• Handle transactions accurately at the register and follow loss-prevention standards.
• Assist with inventory, merchandising, and general store upkeep.
