Books-A-Million is seeking a friendly Bookseller to greet customers, help them find reading options, and process purchases on the sales floor and at the register. This hourly role involves assisting across departments and keeping displays fresh and inviting.

Ideal candidates love books, enjoy customer interaction, and can balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail experience is helpful, and eligibility requires being 16 or older.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with warmth and enthusiasm, helping them find what they seek and making checkout quick and accurate.
• Drive sales by recommending products and communicating benefits of programs.
• Create inviting displays and maintain an organized, fresh sales floor.
• Handle transactions with care and integrity while following loss prevention standards.
• Assist across departments as needed to keep the store running smoothly.
