Barnes & Noble is a community bookstore where Booksellers welcome customers, connect readers with titles, and keep the store well-presented and efficient. You will assist customers, help unpack deliveries, stock shelves, and operate registers with a friendly, professional approach.

As you gain experience, you will develop bookselling knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books, and progress toward the Senior Bookseller role with opportunities for growth within the chain.

Qualifications

• Reliability and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Flexibility to fill scheduling gaps and work early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Supportive, respectful behavior towards colleagues and customers.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers cheerfully and help them find titles and products.
• Unpack deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain attractive store displays.
• Operate registers efficiently to provide quick, professional service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and shelving; help locate books using store tools.
• Support the cafe team when needed and follow loss prevention procedures.
