Job summary

As a Bookseller, you’ll develop product knowledge across fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, and grow toward Senior Bookseller with experience. Expect flexible hours across mornings, days, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused role requiring friendly, helpful communication.
• Reliability for scheduled shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to learn store merchandising and product presentation.
• Must be comfortable operating registers and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and connect readers with titles and products.
• Unpack, shelve deliveries and tidy displays for attractive presentation.
• Operate registers and assist customers quickly and accurately.
• Support cafe team and other store tasks as needed.
• Understand loss prevention procedures and maintain store standards.
