Job summary

Barnes & Noble is seeking a Bookseller to warmly welcome customers, connect readers with titles, and keep the store inviting and well-organized. You will help unpack deliveries, shelve books, and maintain displays while working the registers with speed and a friendly manner.

You will also contribute to team success by supporting merchandising, cafe operations, and loss-prevention practices, always aiming to deliver outstanding customer experiences at our OH location.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a cheerful, helpful greeting and answer questions to connect readers with right titles and products.
• Maintain attractive store presentation and ensure efficient running, including unpacking deliveries and tidying displays.
• Operate registers quickly and professionally to provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with shelving, stocking, and supporting the café team when needed.
• Learn and follow loss prevention procedures and de‑escalation techniques to handle issues in the store.
