BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSELLERS, INC. is seeking a part-time Bookseller to welcome customers, help them find titles, and maintain an appealing store presentation. You will handle checkout, assist with shelving, and support deliveries to keep shelves stocked and displays attractive.

Responsibilities include customer service, merchandising, and collaboration with store teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Prior experience isn’t required, but a positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and connect readers with the right titles and products.
• Maintain attractive presentation of the store and its displays.
• Operate registers and provide quick, professional service.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and shelve deliveries and tidy displays.
• Work our registers in a quick and friendly manner.
• Support receiving and unpacking of deliveries and shelving.
• Find books and products using knowledge and available tools.
• Assist the café team when needed.
• Follow loss prevention procedures and de-escalate issues.
