Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is hiring a Bookseller to welcome customers, recommend titles, and keep our store tidy and well-presented. You will help with shelving, displays, and operating registers with a friendly, professional service.

As part of a busy team, you will develop product knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, children's books, and related categories, while supporting sales objectives and assisting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Attend to customers with a cheerful and helpful attitude.
• Maintain clean and attractive book displays and store presentation.
• Operate registers and assist with merchandising and stock.
• Communicate with team to ensure smooth store operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find books and products.
• Unpack deliveries, shelve items, and tidy displays.
• Run a register quickly and accurately to serve customers.
• Assist with receiving, shelving, and inventory management.
• Support café team when needed and follow loss prevention procedures.
