Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Flexible schedule, daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookmobile operations and community outreach services.
• Operate bookmobile and cargo van to deliver library services throughout the community.
• Inspect vehicles regularly and report maintenance needs to appropriate staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness of the bookmobile.
• Provide courier services between library branch locations.
• Assist with scheduling and tracking bookmobile usage and activities.
• Maintain inventory and order bookmobile supplies as needed.
• Organize and maintain bookmobile office files and records.
• Support development and updates of departmental manuals and procedures.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
