Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives operational data for entry into the client's bookkeeping system and determines the best method to record the financial information.
• Ensures all checks are endorsed properly and deposited into the proper account each day and prepares charge card transactions.
• Balances and reconciles ledgers and cash/bank accounts; aligns balances with other recorded sources.
• Develops periodic reports on business income, expenses, gross taxes, and other items as needed.
• Performs payroll services including preparation of payroll checks and monthly/quarterly/annual reports, per wage laws.
• Maintains a manual file system for hard-copy documents after entry into the records.
• Identifies process issues and notifies management with potential solutions.
• Participates in meetings and training to improve bookkeeping services.
• Attends training related to the effective performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
