Job summary

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the client's bookkeeping system and record income, expenses, and payroll details as applicable.
• Ensure checks are endorsed and deposited to the correct accounts each day; process charge card transactions.
• Balance and reconcile ledgers and bank accounts; prepare periodic reports on income, expenses, taxes, and other needs.
• Perform payroll services, including preparation of payroll checks and required employer/employee payroll reports in compliance with wage laws.
• Maintain a manual file system for hard-copy documents and participate in trainings to improve bookkeeping services.
