Job Description

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team! We are an outsourced bookkeeping company.

This position is paid hourly, based on time worked. The expected work week is 30-35 hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Update client bookkeeping transactions in QuickBooks with accurate details from banking, emails, shared documents, third-party programs, payroll sites (ADP and Paychex), etc. Create reports weekly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on the client.
  • Provide CPA with year-end reports and requested documents.
  • Process 1099s at year-end. Assist with W/C and GL audits.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients requiring additional office support.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop, including class coding, and reports from ADP and Paychex. This is essential.
  • Ability to multitask, be self-motivated and self-directed, and maintain a schedule.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency with Google accounts, Dropbox, and OneDrive.
  • Experience with multiple industries/clients.
  • Experience with Clio, Concour, AIAs, or Sage100 for contractors is a plus. Notary is a plus.
Remote Work:
  • The role is remote after an initial in-person training period, which lasts approximately 3 months, three days a week. Both parties should be comfortable with this arrangement. In-person meetings may occur in the greater Boston/Southern Maine area.
