We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for effectively managing day‑to‑day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Base pay range
$27.00/yr - $34.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management
- Enter and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Generate financial reports to provide insights on the company’s financial position
- Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines
- Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation as required
- Coordinate with other departments to gather relevant financial information and support financial analysis
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a relevant financial role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
