Job summary

CFS is seeking a Bookkeeper in Orlando, FL for a fully onsite role. You will join a collaborative accounting team supporting multiple entities and handling day-to-day reconciliations, cash management, and payroll functions.

The position offers structured onboarding and mentorship to build skills and confidence within a growing hospitality group. Strong Excel and two years of accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and transactional accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, cash management).
• Comfortable using Excel for reconciliations and financial record-keeping in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and maintain accurate records across multiple entities.
• Process cash receipts, journal entries, AP, AR, and payroll support.
• Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing for around 70–80 employees.
• Import data from POS systems into the accounting platform and verify reports.
• Support phased training from cash receipts to AP and payroll responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Of The Bookkeeper

• Perform bank reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.
• Process cash receipts, journal entries, accounts payable activities, and support accounts receivable functions
• Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing for approximately 70-80 employees, including payroll review and workers' compensation support.
• Import data from POS systems into the accounting platform, verify information, and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Support a phased training process, beginning with cash receipts and progressing into accounts payable and payroll responsibilities.
