Role Description

The Bookkeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. This role will prepare and update financial statements, assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The Bookkeeper will use accounting software to process invoices, payments, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies. The role will collaborate with management to provide financial insights, support audits, and maintain organized, up-to-date records for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements for internal reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools.
• Knowledge of finance principles and comfort working with budgets and cash flow.
• Experience creating and posting journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role strongly valued.
• Experience in retail, luxury goods, or fragrance-related industries is an advantage but not required.
