Job summary

ReaderLink is a leading full-service distributor of hardcover, trade, and paperback books to non-trade channel booksellers throughout North America.

Picker/Packer – 1st Shift in a high-volume distribution center requires accurate scanning, RF equipment use, and efficient packing. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with occasional overtime and possible early starts. Benefits include PTO, 401(k), health insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detail oriented.
• Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, scanners, etc.
• Basic math skills to count, add and subtract quickly and accurately.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and support safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Becomes proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, RF and voice directed picking.
• Performs assigned general housekeeping duties.
• Reports accidents, injuries, near misses and hazardous conditions immediately to ReaderLink management.
• Assists in other facets of production and works at different workstations as needed.
