Job summary

ReaderLink is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift in a fast-paced distribution center. The role involves operating tablets, radios, and scanners, and performing material handling tasks with strict attention to accuracy and safety.

The starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a Monday–Thursday 4:00 PM–1:30 AM schedule and Friday 4:00 PM–8:00 PM. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) with company matching, insurance, and other perks.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate tablets, radios, and scanning devices.
• Basic math skills and ability to count accurately.

Responsibilities

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM–1:30 AM

• Performs assigned general housekeeping duties.
• Report all accidents, injuries, near misses and hazardous conditions immediately to ReaderLink management.
• Assists in other facets of production as needed and works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to safety methods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Dependable and flexible when work is required in other areas of production.
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time frames.
• Demonstrate quality and accuracy when performing assigned material handling functions.
• Checks and adjusts headset and handheld device.
• Logs into the handheld device.
• Changes zones when necessary.
• Stickers cartons as directed by Jennifer operating system.
• Builds a train by scanning bar code on label.
• Picks by scanning any carton number in the train and follows “Jennifer’s” directions to grab number and quantity.
• Passes a train after completes “grab”, “put”, “sticker”, or the person next to you needs work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year general warehouse/material handler experience preferred but not necessary.
