Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Material Handler in Willard, OH to support manufacturing floor operations. You will assist with collecting, securing, and moving book sections, ensuring material flow through binding and pressing processes while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The role offers 8-hour rotating shifts with overtime opportunities and benefits including health coverage, 401(k) with match, PTO, EAP, and performance bonuses. Training and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to learn new roles through on-the-job training.
• Good communication and collaboration with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate stackers and robots to collect, organize, and prepare book sections for production.
• Secure book sections with straps for safe transport and processing.
• Feed materials into binding machines and move finished products to skids or boxes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety protocols to support zero-accident goal.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals and cross-train.
