Job summary

Andrews McMeel Universal Inc. is seeking a production coordinator to oversee book and calendar print production, coordinate with editors and designers, and manage supplier quotes and schedules across Andrews McMeel Publishing and related imprints.

You will track PO status, review proofs, and ensure on-time delivery while liaising with multiple departments and vendors to achieve quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic arts production.
• Proficiency with Office 365, Excel, Word and Adobe PDF.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with editorial and design to specify print production per title.
• Obtain printer quotes and place projects within AMP guidelines.
• Coordinate steps from PO to delivery for book/calendar titles on front lists.
• Track inventory, schedules, and budgeting; review related invoices.
• Collaborate across production teams to optimize ideation and production processes.
• Review color proofs and guide designers in file prep.
