Job summary

The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Bone Marrow Transplant in Hamtramck, Michigan. The role is part‑time with night shift, joining a dedicated pediatric/adult care environment within Tenet Healthcare’s DMC facilities.

The RN will provide leadership and collaborative patient care, with responsibilities spanning care delivery, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary communication. A BSN is preferred; Michigan RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• BSN preferred and AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates and evaluates patient care; provides and delegates care to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making.
