Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) is preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork and ongoing education.
• BMT nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based care and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients and care team about status and treatment plans.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments and care plans.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multi-disciplinary discharge planning for safe transition.
