Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking an experienced transplant RN to coordinate allogeneic and unrelated donor transplant admissions. You will work with the transplant team, insurance, social work and laboratories to ensure smooth patient care and donor selection.

The role emphasizes rapid donor searches, high-quality patient interaction and adherence to the center's values and standards. A BSN is preferred and CO RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure in Colorado as an RN or multistate license.
• OCN/BMTCN certification within 18 months from start date.
• Minimum of three years' RN experience in a bone marrow/stem cell transplant program.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and health care team members.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and admit blood and marrow transplant patients (Allogeneic or Unrelated Donor).
• Serve as liaison among patients, families, physicians and nurses throughout transplant.
• Coordinate with Insurance Verifier and Social Worker to anticipate financial challenges.
• Collaborate with NMDP, HLA lab and transplant physicians for donor selection and registry search.
• Support rapid, efficient NMDP search and appropriate donor selection for clinical needs.
