Qualifications

  • MS required.
  • Histopath tech and microscope experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years research and/or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute specialized bone histology and histomorphometry on clinical bone biopsies and preclinical studies.
  • Perform processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, image acquisition, and quantitative analysis; report results.
  • Document QA and provide lab supervision; contribute to clinical care pathways for metabolic bone disease and translational studies.
  • Allocate 70% of time to microscope work; maintain lab quality and compliance.
  • Experience with micro CT and other imaging modalities is highly desirable.
